15 Ohm 1 Watt Resistor

• A large hIgher power 15 Ohm resistor used at position R34 on Spectrum boards
• Sold individually

15 Ohm Resistor 

• Used at R62 - Can easily burn out especially if there has been smoke / problems with TR4/TR5
• Symptoms when bad: Spectrum essentially OK but very dark / no / monochrome video (and unnaffected by trimmers on issue TWOs). Pin 14 of LM1889 (IC14) is a lot lower than 12v.

3 Amp Fuse for UK Mains Plug

• Appropriate fuse for the UK mains plug of Spectrum, Commodore 64 etc

7805 Voltage Regulator

Replacement 5 volt regulator IC for the Spectrum, (breadbin) Commodore 64, ZX81 etc

Heatsink for issue 3-6A Spectrum PCB

• Original, used part in good condition.
• Includes standard slotted 4BA cheesehead bolt, shake-proof washer, insulating washer and nut.
• When fitting: Bolt passes through washer, then 7805, then heatsink, then PCB, then insulating washer (only required if your board has nearby traces, EG: the 6A), then nut.
• Note: 4S (Samsung made) boards used a brass Philips head screw, this isn't particularly important but I have those listed above if required.

New internal reset switch for Spectrum+ or Toastrack 128

• Brand new
• Same as original reset switch but has a light grey plunger instead of brown/black (Note: if you have an original reset switch that has gone bad, you can actually swap the plunger to the new switch body - it's fiddly though and care must be taken to avoid breaking anything.)

New power transformer coil for Spectrum 16/48K PCB

• Part of the circuit in Spectrums that generates the -5v and 12v power rails.
• These are brand new transformer coils made by myself.

Replacement foam pads for Spectrum+ legs

A pair of self-adhesive foam pads to replace those found on the Spectrum+ support legs (which often will have crumbled with age)

• As used on Issue TWO Spectrum PCB for adjusting colour output  (the old trimmers can become intermittent and unreliable)

Replacement DC Jack plug for Spectrum PSU

• A good quality, high current rated replacement for the original PSU jack plug.
• Remember when soldering: The Spectrum PSU is unusual in that the inner pin is negative and the outer barrel is positive. (Getting these reversed will fry your Spectrum!)

40 Ohm Speaker for Issue 3 to 6A Spectrum Motherboard *NEW*

• Brand new replacement part
• Important: Not for Issue ONE or TWO motherboards (those boards require a 200 Ohm speaker). 

New speaker module for Issue 2 (only) ZX Spectrum motherboard

• With suitable 200 Ohm speakers seemingly impossible to source new, I've designed a replacement module. It uses a standard low impedence small speaker but with a buffer and amplifier so that it still presents a ~200 Ohm load to the Spectrum.
• For Issue 2 boards only (from Issue 3 onwards, a 40 Ohm speaker was used - these are available above)
