Loose axial electrolytic capacitors
High quality, long life, established brand axial electrolytic capacitors sold individually.
Notes:
- The voltage rating on capacitors refers to the maximum voltage that be safely applied, so if for example, you can replace an old cap that has a 16v rating with one with a 50v rating without any issues (but do check the dimensions in case there are any physical contraints on the PCB or enclosure). It is the capacitance (measured in microfarads "uf") that is critical.
- These caps are polarized - this means they need to fitted with the same orientation as the originals. In the case of axial capacitors, there is an indentation in the body of the cap nearest the positive lead and a row of arrows pointing to the negative lead. Usually there will markings on the PCB to indicate which way around the caps should be mounted.
- Pictures are for illustration only - please see the individual item descriptions for dimensions.
